so my alternative is a .027 thickness head gasket.
So my quench will be .037.

Googling around, it seems the Minimum recommended is .035

Cutting it close, but the gasket is in stock...

that also raises my CR even more, ugg!

And who knows, maybe the .030 gasket will show up before i'm ready to actually install the heads...

On a fresh build, especially one that has been measured and checked over multiple times, I'd have no reserves running it. On an older engine or one with aluminum rods, I'd be more cautious. Hell, I'm running .037" quench on my 200K-mile assembly. But I measured and remeasured.

Yeah, factory gaskets leave some to be desired. But, you gotta remember the piston comes outta the hole .008" - .012". Mine averaged .011".

It it’s far and away better than the Diablosport Custom 93 tune. Like 15-20% if I had to put a number in it. The Diablosport I’ve had for a year and it just isn’t as refined at part throttle. The WOT is tons better as well. Way more fun to drive now. I’m still gathering parts for the AFM delete and can’t wait!

Ported new stock replacement pump, plugged AFM towers and plugged relief valve port. That was also 11.67W-40 Rotella T6. Now running 10W-40 T6 and the pressures are more reasonable. lol
Nice, I've been running t6 since I bought the thing. Ever since I ran that in the Subaru I kind of just stuck with it Lol
