Not terrible. Lay the gasket you planned on using and let’s see the overhang. What bore are you planning on having?

My actual bore size is 4in
the gasket bore size is 4.1in

the head bore size is 4.1in
I had planned to keep it tight, but i wanted aluminum to touch 100% of the gasket surface.
on the one head i ended up with a tiny bit of overhang into the combustion chamber.
it's not terrible.
I can do another check and maybe a picture, but as of right now i'm really planning to not touch the gasket again until i'm ready to install the heads.

What fuel pump are you guys using?

I just got a prime day fuel transfer pump ordered, leaning towards dropping that tank while i'm at it.
new fuel pump and this hoe should be fully sorted once it's back together.

I believe the caddy 6.2 flex pump is different than the Tahoe 5.3 flex.

I almost went straight for this route. But, I have a lift and found I can have the tank dropped in half an hour. It needs to come down again.
