Hate it for you Felix. We knew there was a down side to gas prices. Hope you get a new gig soon and good luck with the sales, hate those have to happen too.

Took her in for an oil change a week ago, now it has become more...

1). Complete Head and Valve job

2). New Plugs

3). Waiting on Inspector for additional items

4). Oil Change

This due to the AFM going awry @ 120,000 miles. I suppose, I could look at this in a negative way, but after the work it "should" last for at least another 120,000 miles. I'm having the dealership take a "heavy" look at everything else while in their hands.

Got her back today, running well and $4500.00 later. I really like the GMC dealer I have all my work done. I feel like the service manager I deal with is very fair, but I have a couple of gripes.

1) Engine Bay full of oil, maybe the set parts up against fenders. They said they cleaned it, must have used a water hose as it's all still there...

2) Plugs and Wires for $250.00....Ouch!! They needed to be replace, I had never priced them so it seems steep....

I just need to replace front shock and rear shocks. This should be bring it to a solid truck (compressor has already been replaced)

I mentioned to the Service Manager that he should put the Mrs. and I on his Christmas list as we have spent close to $10K with him in the last 60 days.

Well I was thinking of having the radiator flushed/service and oil changed, because of all this work done in the motor. The radiator fluid and oil change was done @ no charge....LOL

I have to find some humor on this whole thing...... Next Engine Bay Detail...

Ouch!!! This is why I get any work done that I can't do myself done by a reputable garage rather than the dealer because you pay at least twice as much at a dealership.

Glad she's back and running well.
