Latest Update to anyone still following my motor saga

truck will be completed tomorrow. they put it all back together today and heat cycled it, tuning it in the morning. Doing a gas AND e85 tune :D And so far...we've ALL been wrong on the noise......ready for what it was......The cam shaft had 2 lobes starting to de-laminate!! Hence the random pitch and revolution sound with the metal on metal sound. So the lifters were all still good, which is...a good thing I guess buuuuut its still DoD deleted with a 6.2 cam haha.

yes it still got the ls7 lifters - it was a DoD delete either way it went. Oh and someone had asked a page or two ago...they use a plug in the valley cover for the DOD sensors, and then tune it the rest of the way out. So its gone gone!

Out of all dozens of used vehicles I have owned over the years, I owned this one the longest so far. 6 years. Had 290K when I got it.
Wow!! Sure doesn't seem like 6 years since you owner Silvy. That's crazy.

Had loose bolts on valley cover and oil leak, not exactly sure where from.
Parts were sitting for a while.
Recently saw slight drop in oil pressure and decided to finally tackle everything.

So i went ahead and changed:
- New valley cover
- New oil pressure sensor
- Valve cover gaskets ( i was already down there, why not? Couldve been leaking as well! )

P.S XL and 20ft boat fits in 24ft garage, but veeeery tight
