like most states, Louisiana didn't seem to bad besides the big cities, Nola and Baton Rouge. other than that it just feels like a poor southern state with not a lot of money put into infrastructure. when the river floods you're own your own. get you're buddies together, gut the sheet rock 4 foot up, let it dry out and rebuild. they used to have kinda party's setup at work after the big storms. anyone need help pulling rock posted up on the board. BBQ st so and so's place.

Army Corps of Engineers made sure Nola will never flood again, but everyone else will. haha

Yup. That's Louisiana.

I'm thankful for my little nook in the cane fields in West Baton Rouge. Most of my EBR experience is just passing through it on my way to NO for work.

buddy I worked with for a few years lived I think it was north of BR on false river. if you've heard of it. he made the drive into New Orleans 4 days a week for like 25 years. craziness to me, but you do what you gotta do.

I've definitely heard of it! I live about 5 miles from False River. It's/I'm WNW of BR. Funny thing is, most of my work is in NO and I tend to be there at least 4 days a week, sometimes even 5-7. I drive a company van so it's not so bad. Been at it over 10 years so it's just a regular commute.

Converting back to the stock autoride air suspension- new struts plus new upper and lower arms because the ball joints were bad.
The only major component that hasn't been replaced are the axles because they are in good shape. Will be doing the driver side soon.

that is a proper long daily man. our job started at 4am. so left early mornings. he ran the gauntlet, deer in the mornings, I think he was up to about 5 by the time I left and bad drivers on the way home.

I don't have that kinda commut in me.. I'm 9mins from work here and when the alarm goes off at 4am I still struggle haha.

Converting back to air ride - new struts plus new upper and lower arms.
Did the rack and pinion and stab links a few weeks back. Calipers were done last year. Basically have rebuilt most of the front suspension. The only major component that hasn't been replaced are the axles because they are in good shape. Will be doing the driver side soon.

My fleet of "Chevy's" is inadvertently growing.
Grabbed a Traxxas high trail '72 blazer trail rig last night ...wrecked the body this morning trying to do things it's not meant for.

Drove the ToeHoe down to the beach this morning for some rc rock crawling.

Unrelated, but took the Christmas Tree dash out for a spin yesterday too... realized it has some intermediate electrical gremlins now.

Time for oil & filter change
Tire rotation
Trans fluid - filter & pan change, getting a drain plug now.
If there's time, new upstream o2 sensors.

What scale is that?
