you have the correct ones it calls for. (i think), if you drive thru a car wash does the high speed drying fan makes the wipers lift off the glass?
Interesting, when i go through carwash dryers, my blade (driver side mainly) floats up about 1-2".the j hook style go out with less angle and then the jhook part corrects it with a bend so the blades sit right, but I think this gives them less downforce
you might also notice if you drive above say 85mph in the rain that a standard wiper blade will start to lift off the glass and not work as well. I have corrected that with 3rd party wiper blades but a firmer wiper arm couldn't hurt as well. I am probably in the 1% bracket that will on occasion drive that fast or faster in the rain. rain is my nemesis. hydroplaning does not always end well.Interesting, when i go through carwash dryers, my blade (driver side mainly) floats up about 1-2".
Mine have J hooks as well, but I never realized the entire arm was a different profile.the j hook style go out with less angle and then the jhook part corrects it with a bend so the blades sit right, but I think this gives them less downforce

I’ve never taken it through an automatic car wash because of the radio antennas. I’ve also never had the wipers ever try to lift and be less effective at any speed.you have the correct ones it calls for. I poked around a few years I think the 2012 tahoe shows it can use either one (angled or not angled)
is the mounting bolt splined?
this is what ra shows for the 2012 tahoes angled or straighter with a j hook

By J hooks, I mean the blade attachment.Mine have J hooks as well, but I never realized the entire arm was a different profile.
