Lift parts and rear glass switch came in from Amazon yesterday. I got home from work around 11:30, so I wasn't gonna do the lift. To do something constructive, I replaced that switch. I feel sorry for those that have removed the inside panel and broken the applique tabs just to replace this switch. I did it in under 5 minutes with a tiny screwdriver, exhausted with half a sleeping brain from working 16 hours then driving 2 hours home.

Yesterday i did a power steering flush. pulled the hose off the reservoir and let it drain.Got both wheels off the ground so i could turn them and get as much fluid out as possible.

Took it to Walmart to get a few things for the trip tomorrow. Noticed on the way there the average MPG went back up from 15.7 to 16.4. I'd have to say that sudden jump was from using 89 octane on the last fill-up. I picked up six of the $0.97 bottles of SuperTech fuel treatment and dumped 2 bottles in the remaining 3/4 tank of gas. I'll use two at every fill-up along this trip and note the MPG and any changes in engine operation. It'll also be the first all-highway driving since disabling AFM. Also, I've been slacking on checking the tire air pressure. After today's ~30-mile round trip, the tire pressure is 25 for both fronts and 30 for both rears. I usually keep it around 35 front and rear. Correct pressure would contribute to even better MPG.

Going back to the garage to correct this and check the fluids...
