Nope other than it’s a super easy job assuming you have sockets with you. Should take you 10-15 minutes tops

Possibly? Been a few years since I had to do mine on my Burb. I just remember it being super simple. Take the belt off with belt tensioner and the alternator is held on by two bolts. Then you have a plug to unplug and another nut to undo near the plug

Oh, I finally changed the serpentine belt and a/c belt to stop the sweekin noise.
P.s. wait until the engine cools down, it makes it easier to do....

Well since it dying was the reason for the parking lot mechanics work, engine kill wasn’t an option! But agreed!

Drove it about 800 miles today and it looks like the EVAP purge solenoid was the ticket. Check engine light has not popped back on 
In other news, about 30 minutes into the trip a stone got kicked up and cracked my windshield fml
