How'd you all like the "Lucky A" and museum?
We had a blast! We spent more time there than planned. We went through the museum and sub first, then the entire ship and left right at closing. It was kinda creepy being the only few left going through the engine rooms and below deck areas! 07bbece627ecf24a47126c3523089b77.jpg

Tom that's wonderful and glad that you all enjoyed it. My parents took us there in 1982 and I returned in 2014 with my family. Our #2 will be starting college in Pensacola this summer so maybe we can make time for a visit and lunch at Felix's again. But I do want to see the Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola NAS too.

We've been staying on Okaloosa Island (Fort Walton Beach/Destin) and see military jets and planes flying over the water, I'm guessing from Elgin AFB.

I really like watching the Ospreys fly by. Sometimes they'll switch from vtol mode and back. A lot of c130s, a few Blackhawks, and a lot of different fighter jets, like F22, F16 or 18, etc

We have an air show here every summer and I love seeing the Ospreys and Harriers close up. The Harriers especially, hovering right in front of the crowd making the ground rumble, then moving forward and taking off, is ridiculous.

Half-assed inspected it, including a sniff test of the interior.

I was working today when my brother brought it back to drop off and pick up his truck. I liked seeing it parked in front of the shop as I drove down my street. He had it for two weeks and 400 miles. It smelled the same and I didn't notice any new dings or scratches. I'm glad to have my Tahoe back and he's very happy with his truck. He said it scared him when he first hit the throttle cuz it responded so well.

'08 Yukon Denali (so 6.2)

For the passenger side I used a Dorman part # 523-240 (the OEM p/n is 23104735)

For the driver side, there isn't a non-OEM option so I used the OEM one, p/n 23104736.

The driver side mount is a little more difficult to find for some reason, and not sure why Dorman would make one but not the other, who knows. Of the two when removed, my driver side one was definitely more worn out.

Passenger side has two threaded studs that pass through the mount pad on the diff secured by nuts and looks like this:

Driver side isn't as flat like the passenger side, is thicker, accepts bolts that pass through the diff carrier case, and looks like this:
n-Escalade-Front-Differential-Carrier-Bracket-Left.jpg

You can buy the four bushings cheaper, but then you have to press them out/in after removing the mounts. A little more expensive, but less work/easier in my opinion to just get the whole brackets.

Not a hard job to do, just a little time consuming (at least for me) getting the driver side bracket out. Less room on that side coupled with a thicker and not exactly flat/straight chunk of metal results in lots of twisting, prying, shifting, raising/lowering of the diff to snake it out. Passenger side is super easy.
Im curious to know What difference do you feel afterward.
