Do we really need cabin air filters? was looking undereath the dash and i did not see one? the heck lol

haha when I had my 00 I didn't know it even had one for a few years when I pulled that thing out it was nasty and caked in dirt and leaves had to vacuum the compartment out, I think the air flow increased about 30% with a new filter, gm has flip flopped on using them from year to year if your truck does not have one you can add it.

Yeah they stopped putting them in because owners would never check/replace them and it caused more of a restriction and other problems when clogged full of crap.

I have one in my 2001 and change it every other year with the smelly Fram one from Walmart.... Lol
