What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

On Saturday after getting back from a week away I took my 08 for a drive after it sitting and noticed something was wrong with the front passenger wheel...vibration at 40mph but not slower or while applying brakes, car felt like it was pulling to that side and saw some smoke through windshield. Wasnt far from home yet so I went back and jacked it up, pads look like volcanic rock (prob from the heat), one of two pistons in caliper frozen and the other was leaking fluid from the rubber boot. So ordered new caliper and pads from RA, they arrived this morning and I installed. All well now. Old pads top, new pads bottom.

Good thing it didn’t catch on fire, good job.

ya the front calipers on these are not great, common problem I have had to replace both mine twice, getting ready to put a 3rd set on, all you can do it keep an eye on them and try to catch it before it happens.

I’m waiting for mine to die so I can upgrade to the newer 4 piston calipers, pads and rotors…

I had one of those rear rack carrier things with a snowblower on it and I got a ***** warning from a cop, says it's blocking the license plate.

I was worried about it the whole time. None of them bothered me thankfully.
I was thinking of printing a pic of the plate and taping it the the rack.

Knock sensor? should be one on each side of the block
