What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Filled up with 89 octane 0% ethanol for the second time. Didn’t do much better on mileage on that. 10.5 vs 9.3 mpg. Cost $.35/mi vs $.30/mi on E85 so E85 is a better bargain right now. I was at 18% ethanol for that tank so we will see what I have now and how it does mileage wise.

Haven’t been on here much lately. Here’s a crappy phone pic I like. Also, what tires would you recommend? I may go back to the factory 20s. I’ve had Nitto 420s for years, but I guess they don’t make those anymore. I’ve exceeded the H speed rating a few times (Mexico) so I’d like something with a V rating (have come close to exceeding that, but that was rather stupid of me). I’m looking at these two at the moment

I like the goodyears but they really don't make anything above a H in that size, so if I had to pick it would probably be the Toyo

I’ve been a huge fan of Nitto, but I do kinda wanna try Toyo. The warranty difference doesn’t really matter to me either. I only drive ~3000 miles per year, and that’ll come down if I find a new daily soon

looking at the tread again, my best guess is the nitto are going to have better wet traction

@lowh07 I had the nitto 421Q in 285-45r22. I thought they were solid tires, I got 55,000 miles out of mine. My only complaints would be that I felt they were loud, especially after 20,00 miles and the center of the tread wore out faster than the edges even though I kept the pressure at 33 all the time. Can't really complain too much since I did get a ton of miles out of them. Mostly highway driving.

I have ran these budget performance tires a couple times, had no issue, reviews are 50/50
but there cheap..... I actually ran 305's no rubbing other than minor rub in reverse at full lock, or maybe if you hit a really decent bump in the road

If we're mentioning cheap tires, I bought some lionharts off amazon for my s10. They are just a 245/45/17 and I drive 100 miles a day to work. Again, this is for the s10 but those things are great for the money. They balanced great, a couple of them have zero weights (crazy but true), I have no complaints. Hell, I just spent over $1,200 replacing the Bridgestones on the Yukon and the cheap tires ride better than those lol. I'm a stickler for tire brands on anything but my s10 though.

Again, this is for the s10 but those things are great for the money. They balanced great, a couple of them have zero weights (crazy but true), I have no complaints. Hell, I just spent over $1,200 replacing the Bridgestones on the Yukon and the cheap tires ride better than those lol. I'm a stickler for tire brands on anything but my s10 though.

I have used the lionhearts, my experience was they have poor grip, not scary no grip but in the rain on a corner my @ss was waggling more than a few times, I do tend to drive like a mad man so I suppose that has to be a weighing factor compared to a normal driver.

That’s the only time I’ve heard about the Lionhearts. I ended up with a pair of new 305/30/26’s that I had to pull off the front of my Silvy because they rubbed (it’s bagged) and they’re hanging up in my shed. They’re the same size as the tires I run on the back so I’ll end up putting them back there. Sounds like I won’t have any issues, good to know.
