throw in 2 bottles of injector cleaner at each fill up for the next few tank fulls, that will smooth out your idle or should anyway.Did spark plugs and wires today, was surprisingly much easier than i thought!
Took passenger wheel off and all 4 were breeze to remove boot and wire from wheel well.
Idle is much better now, but small needle movement still exists in Drive at stand still.
Needle moves between 500-600rpm and slightly vibrates the car, barely noticeable.
Will try cleaning throttle body again, i think first time i cleaned it, not enough dirt was removed.
Barely sprayed anything and there was no rough start nor white smoke.
Guess i got scared by that youtube video that said be careful or you can hydrolock the engine if you spray too much throttle body cleaner
Ooh that’s a great idea, thank you!throw in 2 bottles of injector cleaner at each fill up for the next few tank fulls, that will smooth out your idle or should anyway.
they are typically $1.25 a bottle at walmart, I usually buy a 12 pack and put a couple bottles in each vehicle every 2-3 months as regular maintenance.
you can also have a injector service done that usually runs about $80, have it done by a shop that uses the adapter to run it right into the fuel rail.
Ooh that’s a great idea, thank you!
Will put some in today with fillup, although going to fly on Sunday and car will remain parked at DTW for a week
ya I have added cleaner on full or empty tank, they probably just say "full tank" on the product that so people won't complain if it made the engine run goofy for some god forsaken reasonI'm a fan of Berryman B-12. I add a bottle once a month or so when my tank is down to around 1/4 and run it til 1/8 or 1/16 then refuel. Running it when the fuel is low makes more sense to me than adding it to a full tank. It's a better product than Seafoam and half the price- about $4 at Walmart.

Also, don't get too hung up on eliminating the idle vibes in these engines. It seems to be an inherent trait.
If you are flex fuel and have it available nearby, run a tank of E85. That'll clean the injectors, valves, and combustion chambersDid spark plugs and wires today, was surprisingly much easier than i thought!
