Honetly, I like 3rd row headrests for visibilty..
especially in the rear passenger seat, you can actually see out the quarter window!

but there is no support on accel or whiplash protection..

each generation of these trucks has reduced visibility, the T2's you may as well not even have a rear window, you might have a shoe box sized view.
all because of "federal regulations" the pillars have to meet certain standards with each new generation.
it's one of the things that kept me from even buying a 900 for a good while

haven't popped it in yet.

when i asked if they had a passenger side they said not currently but they arw the same for both sides.

like you say, gm things.

I saw a article years ago talking about the last gm car with an adjustable head rest. they are completely phased out at this point. while Ford and others are adding electricity adjustable ones haha. makes me wonder if it's crash testing or just a cost thing most people won't ever notice. having a messed up neck and back, I notice after a hour or so of driving

(Minor?) Neck issues myself, always cramped feeling.. trying to stretch it all the time. Makes a lot of cricking creaking noises.
So I feel you on flipping that headrest backwards in your car.
