Bought an 08 Tahoe LTZ today. My 02 is down for awhile and although I finally got my 08 Silverado back from the body shop, I don’t want to have to use it for daily driving because show truck. It needs some maintenance but it will do for now. The dog likes it so I’m good. $4800 for the LTZ with 177k. I ordered Husky floor liners, stickers for the worn out HVAC buttons and a Cerakote headlight restoration kit. Anybody used their headlight product? Hoping it works as well as their trim kit. Gotta lose the vent visors ASAP. I don’t want to look like an old fart. ;)

Vent visors are good. I'd like to get a set for my 03, not the stick on type. I like the in channel style. Much nicer imo.

You guys that own a NNBS Tahoe: do you guys think that’s a good price on what I bought?

I know some people like them, why do you, I’m curious? The time I used them was when I smoked so the window was cracked all the time and it rains a lot here. But now if it’s raining I don’t need to have a window down. I think they distract from the clean look of our rigs. I personally have no use for them.

Went out to grab some tools from the back, and the hatch worked fine for 2 times then it stopped working again.
Guess it's temperature sensitive.
I'll have to order some new gas struts.

It was 9* when I was outside.
Mine is temp sensitive. I believe it even mentions it in the manual.

I have been window shopping for one since my son will be 16 in a couple years, if it doesn't need anything major then you did well. I usually see anything listed below 6k as needing work usually a transmission anything less (and working) is probably sold before I could get there. I have been looking for one I could get cheap and have time to fix it up little by little before he gets a permit. Portland is bigger market than what is close by me, I see deals pop up often a couple hours away so unless they are south/east of me there's no way I could ****** it up in time. sooner or later something will pop up.

Aftermarket running boards!

I have a similar wrinkle on the right corner of the rear bumper. Proof that parking assist is useless!

I've heard this multiple times from people who live in the PNW. In a hot & sunny area, even cracking just two windows just 1/4" makes a significant difference in interior temperatures when a vehicle is sitting in a parking lot even for just a half hour. In those areas that also have regular pop-up thunderstorms (e.g. the Southeast), you're taking a chance on your interior getting wet if you don't have these. FWIW, I don't run them on any of my vehicles because I don't want the visual intrusion.
