What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Whats the consensus on a decent set of rotors and pads for these? I’m not putting Wilwoods on this truck unfortunately; I’m spoiled with them on both my others though. Actually looking to go semi-budget. I have heard Power Stop is fairly decent. Looking at Rock Auto, there’s a ton of choices from cheap to ridiculous. I am considering their semi-coated SC2070 for about $310 shipped or maybe their “geomet” fully coated CRK2070 for about $30 more, not sure if there’s much difference. Not looking to spend much more than that. These prices are for all 4 corners.
for the front I have been pretty happy with these from rock auto, they are slotted and drilled and drilled on the hat as well they fit 07-19 even though they only market them for the 2010 ppv

or for around $650-700 a set the Baer erradispeed
they come with a bracket that relocates the stock caliper, because the rotors are larger. for me it was the best bang for the buck. the rotors are pretty thick I have had these turned twice already and plenty left for more turns if needed. work with standard pads of choosing

and of course the 21+ calipers and rotors are the thing now as well, my money was already put in the baer's and they will still last me a good while

Your idea of semi-budget and mine must be different. I’ll most likely sell this truck after I fix my 02.Those are about twice the money I’m looking at. I just don’t want to waste my time on junk but I don’t want to spend money I’ll never get back, and I’m not going to do any mods. I figure as long as I keep in the middle of the line on parts I’ll come out OK on this truck. I bought it for a good enough price that when it comes time to sell, I should make a little money as long as I don’t spend too much on it. Thanks for the suggestions though. Although I do like driving it, more so the more I fix it up. It might end up too hard for me to let go of but in that case I would most likely do a LOT to it, if you know me. :emotions33: I keep tossing around the idea of selling my Silverado and building or buying a race boat just to fu*k around with a few days a year, so who knows. Too many choices on what’s next. First I gotta beat this damn cancer I guess but the doctors say I’m doing good at that. :cool:

Well that's why I noted the power stop also I have had those on the Silverado for like 4+ years already put some on the wife's suburban as well, seem to be good rotors. I just wanted a little extra in the Denali, another member sold me the front baers for $350 probably about 4 years ago. I liked them so I bought the rear to match. I figured there cheaper than wilwoods lol

I have always had good luck with PowerStop brakes along with R1 Concepts rotors and pads.
I've used PowerStop pads and rotors on numerous cars and I have been using R1 Concepts pads and rotors since around 2003 with zero issues and good performance.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ll probably just go with Power Stop’s middle-of-the-line set. Their Extreme Performance are their top-of-the-line set and would run me almost $400 just for all 4 rotors. Yes of course less than Wilwoods ( pads alone for those are $400 or more last time I checked ouch) but like I said, I’m going semi budget so not going for any of the most expensive lines nor for any unknown or budget meaning cheapest either. The other ones I like are the Raybestos Element 3 for around the same price. I’ll decide in a week or so, that’s when I plan on ordering them. There’s an incredible difference in pricing for my truck, from $150- $1500 total for all 4 corners not even counting going with larger front rotors or big brake kits all the way around where you’re talking $4000 or more. Crazy.

Removed the dash so I can hot staple the cracks. So traumatic I swear.
