Perks of having a Brother in HVAC. Recharged the AC in the Yukon. It had 0 freon..so it has a leak somewhere but it works when charged.
Also got around to steam cleaning the whole inside and holy moly was it dirty..got 90% of the stains out so I call it a good day.

the Amazon listing said acdelco store at the top but in the drop down for sellers only sellers were names of random stores. ended up paying a bit more in rock auto. Who knows at this point. it's a shame the sfk x aren't the fix. they seem good marketing wise.


how did they mess up simple wheel bearings. I can honestly say I've never had a wheel bearing go out on any car I've owned in the last 30 plus years. and lots of them had well over 200k with zero maintenance.

I have worn the oem out at the typical 160k-180k mark. I changed the ones on the yukon early at about 150k, got a online order deal from o'reillys for $134 each when the next best price was like $284, haven't seen them that price again since.
I have worn out the cheaper aftermarket ones in 20k before, so no more of that nonsense to save $50 just to turn around and have to buy another one right after the warranty expires.
Have had good luck with the Timkens as well, not sure if they are still as good as they used to be but if they make it the 3 years I guess that's good....

I was thinking about doing both of my front wheel bearings and maybe axles since I'm at 200k, no issues, but I'd rather not have any either...
