Bought this hitch cover kit; waiting on automotive touch up to send me the paint I ordered a week and a half ago. Anybody install one of these? I see where to install the bracket but any tips would be appreciated. Better yet, a pic of the bracket mounted would help me position it exactly. IMG_0114.jpeg

I would give you a picture of mine but I think the Denali bumper cover/pad is different. Mine didn't have the cover and I got rear-ended a little bit and I just claimed that it must have fell off from the accident so I got one for free, painted and everything lol

There’s 2 styles. There’s one that looks like mine and one that looks more squarish like this. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason, just depends on which bumper you have. Escalade/ Tahoe/ Yukon, the only one for sure is the Esky has the squarish one every time. IMG_0115.png

Didnt take any pics last night because my phone was inside, but I made it to NAPA after they called back saying they found a couple camber bolts/nuts, sans plates (mine are still fine).

Limped home, and finished the UCAs, threw in the new outer tie rods, then did a quick/dirty string alignment to get me to the shop for a real alignment in a couple hours. Luckily the shop is less than 10 mins away.

I had picked up some silicone grease at NAPA to slather my swayhbar bushings in, but when I pulled the fronts off they were severely deteriorated.... at under two years old. Im gonna order some new ones, but what the heck... They were Dorman BSK90229PR.

Alignment done, all good. I hate how the winter roads around here absolutely jack up your vehicles.

my last alignment had way to much toe in.. was feathering my front tires on the outside 2 tread blocks at less than 10k. might want double check with that string if you have time.

I had to take some toe out, left just a tick in, rotated tires and haven't started feathering again.

Been driving mine and just enjoying that the TC has been locking and unlocking like it should haha
I have been hoarding parts to do the aluminum front end refresh and I found this locally to add the weight reduction theme :)
Anyone ever rebuild a motor? This'll be my first.
