Yes. Should’ve sold it when the trans went. Now I’ve got 10k into a 5k vehicle
Sorry to hear that........ I seem to hear about "issues" with models newer than my '05 XL.....
I don't know all the 'changes' after 2006 models, but I have 180,000 and still no problems....
I feel fortunate.....

I washed the Tahoe and Silverado today. The Yukon hasn’t moved in months so it hasn’t gotten dirty enough to warrant a wash. I really need to tear into it to see what’s broken in the drivetrain. Pics lean heavily toward the cool truck because.

What happened to the Yukon drive train?
The supercharger happened to it. :p Not sure if it’s the trans or what. I’ve been going through some stuff as you know and on a trip to the doctors last winter something broke on a hard 3-2 downshift and she refused to drive a few blocks later. I just parked it at the time and bought the Tahoe to get to my appointments. I haven’t got the courage to get into it yet, mainly because the weather has been bad every time I get a good long break in my treatments. I fear its the trans and if so, its will have to get shipped to Performabuilt in PA from Oregon again. I need to quit trying to do AWD burnouts. No, I WILL quit that. :emotions33: I’m too old to be pulling transmissions.

One more torture test for the trusty farm truck passed with flying colours. I seriously have nothing bad to say. I've never ever ran a combination of over 5 metric tons this comfortably and I've been in Hiluxes, Scania, Volvos and Land cruisers. I almost anticipated the haul to fail, and still kinda just went with it. But Rosie is a beaut and a true powerhouse. I'm kinda baffled really since this was the actual legal weight (and height for this type of transport) limit over here with steep hills, hard wind and evil brake-checking BMW drivers on the highway.

Deep down inside your "SUV", you are towing with a truck / truck transmission / truck engine / truck suspension !!

You can tow that weight, every day!! Even when you hit 200,000 + miles on the clock !

( Welcome from Florida !! )

Did its first oil change under my ownership. Swapped over to 10w30 Valvoline High Mileage cuz its what I run in everything. Noticed that Valvoline HM isnt Dexos Approved anymore. Oh well. But I was noticing low oil PSI prob due to oring blown out but now with the thicker oil shes staying around 40PSI so I call it a win.

Installed an amp and dual 10" sub box. I keep a roll of toilet paper in the center console tray. It hit's so hard it will walk around the tray. I'll have to put some 3m tape under the license plate to keep it from buzzing the paint off the tailgate.
