What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Sadly. So i have 2 black leather captains chairs and the rest grey cloth. Yes, make fun, im waiting for it. But i dont care. I wanted black interior for a while and it was either trade in and get a denali or esky with what i want, or take my time, get little by little and switch it out. It might cost me a little more, maybe less, but at least i get the experience in messing with it and tring to do it myself.

So yeah, thats why i didnt post a pic....haha

I wasn't gonna make fun. I was only asking to as what the plans were for the other seats. Find replacements or katzkin or what?

Well thats what im not sure of. Katzkins is not gonna be cheap. But if i wait and search, i might be able to get actual oem seats for less. But i need to pull a jdpber and research. And i wont try to put the katzkin on myself, i just know i wont be satisfied with it. I would want that done professionally. But i also want new foam for the front seats as it seems like its not as firm as it should be. Kinda sinking in feeling.

Eventually, i want to change it all over to black. Carpet, dash, door panels and everything. I dont mind trying that stuff. Plus i want to put sound deadening on the floor to keep out that damn drone. Its starting to annoy me.

All in all, i might as well keep it and do most of the work myself to get experience. I enjoy it, just funds are normally lacking and i have a lot of house upgrades we want to do plus the kids toys and such. Those take precedence over the tahoe.

You can sometimes find front seats on CL and they are all over eBay but eBay is usually pricier

Got lucky with the captains imo on ebay. 350 and 2.5 hrs drive to get them round trip. I cant find any decent salvage yards local so i might try to expand my search a little.

I figured that was the case. The only good thing about getting katzkin would be i could go twotone or get a nice piping around it. But thats not necessary at all.

Rotated my treads today, while I was at it the wheels got cleaned inside and out. Damn....look at the inside, they look new again!!
