I am putting some 28" rims with 295/25/28 tires on my 2007 Tahoe, just wondering what lowering kit I can use with this setup? I had an eibach 2/3 on 295/30/26 with no rubbing what so ever but unsure what I could run with the 28s

This Denali is lowered 2/3 on 28's

2009 Denali on 28's

We had to do over 4 hours of cutting and trimming inside the front wheel wells to get my turning radius back. And that was with my buddy who knows what he is doing working on it.

i'm actually starting to think the clearance issue is at the lower end of the fenders, so i guess u can fit a larger tire when its lowered.

Yeah 295/25/28 is an inch taller than what I had. I actually had purchased a set of 275/25/28 toyos which were only .5" taller but didn't realize that the load index according to toyo was not sufficient for my hoe so I sold them and plan on going with pirellis. I seen an escalade on cardomain and the guy had 28's on a 4/6 drop! For some reason I also think the 2" springs in the front of mine settled a little too much, I only had about 3/4" vertical clearance from tire and fender, that's another reason why I'm going to start fresh with all new struts/springs and lowering kit all around

No, but if you click on the blue in my post, that's his thread, so I'd try PM'ing him about it.
