First off :pics-stfu:

After you comply we'll help you out......:joke:

I would recomend a intake, cam, longtubes, E-fans and AFTER it is supercharged contacting BlackBear and having a custom tune done..........far superior to you hand held tuners!

Transmission wise I'd go with a vette servo which firms up the shifts between 1st and 2nd and a complete fluid change, ie. tranny, front and rear diffs to royal purple fluids

I agree about doing the intake and cams after the blower, but the headers won't hurt to have on already. efans may help but I didn't find it necessary for my truck. I would stay away from Black Bear tuning unless he's going to do it in person. He made a pretty crappy tune and my engine has signs of detination now after his tune. I found someone much better/ on another level than BB to retune it.

What blower are you going to get? I've got a whipple on mine with a custom intercooler. With just JBA shorty headers, and a corsa exhaust plus a custom CAI. I am making 415whp at 7psi, but thats in 2wd.

I wouldn't waster your time putting servos and a shift kit in your trans. I did all that and my trans with about 50k on it started slipping bad the same day i picked it up after doing the trans mods and putting in the blower. With your milage I would just get a built trans. I've blown 4 "built transmission up already. My first two I had a local trans shop built. I really don't think they new what they were doing and fixed it under warranty the first time it blew, after the second time they said I would have to pay and I told them to F off since they obviously had no idea what they were doing. My next transmission was a Lvl 5 from flt. This transmission lasted almost a year but ended up giving up. I just a had a Lvl 5 4l80e transmission put in and I am expecting it to be my last. In retrospect I should have just gone with the 4l80 in the beginning.

Definitely get a cam.
You can drop your iats a few degrees and run more timing to get even more power if you run a water/meth injection set-up. Use a heat exchanger(s) with an intercooler to help bring your iats down also.
Run a step colder on the plugs. I'm running NGK TR6 gapped at .035 and they seem to work well with boosted LSx motors.

I personally would have the transmission built to withstand more power than it will ever see before the supercharger is installed, to prevent any unexpected downtime from a trasmission failure. Also, while having it rebuilt I'd replace the stock torque converter with a higher performance 3000 or 3200 RPM converter from Yank (here is a link to their website)... or some other reputable company.

And you could also explore replacing the belt driven water pump with an electric one like this piece made by Meziere...

Just my .02  Congrats on the supercharger!! Post some before and after vids too :rocking:

Wow mods you completely deleted some good information I gave because I stated facts about a tune I bought from your vendor that cause my engine to have signs of detination. Its not like I ranted about it I just suggested getting him to tune the car in person not remotely. I can prove it for a fact. I If vendors can just pay to make all comments about them disappear. Then forget about this site.

I second and third the above posts: definitely get your tranny built with sturdier components and servos, and certainly get a new torque converter. After that and the S/C you will be really pulling your weight, but if you still want more, well there is always more to do if you have the money to do it.

Cam, heads, new engine, racing suspension, slicks, roll cage, fiberglass body, parachute, etc.

I read your post and yes it had alot of great info and I understand you might be frustrated/pissed about an issue your having with your truck but for your sake and the forums sake PLEASE tread lightly so we don't have another war like we do in the interior section under the "blower.?.?" post

I was treading lightly. My intention was not to start any type of war, but to simply inform another member of my experience. I didn't say black bear wasn't a good or bad tuner. I simply said from having him remotely tune my truck I am now paying the consequences of having an engine with pistons deteriorating. I suggested getting a tune done in person for the best results. I don't think there is a tuner in the world that can say they can tune a setup they've never done before remotely and have it come out as good as if they were tuning it in person. Do I think he could have got the job done fine in person, possibly but I think remote tuning is not a great way to safely tune boosted motors.

I will be able to provide you guys with expert testomony from a lawsuit I am involved in, in a month or so on exactly why remote tuning is not optimal and the potential consequences of it.

If you have a copy of my post please repost it or send it to me and I will edit out the truthful info of what happened with my tune.
