Took it apart. Here are the findings. . .

Water pump itself looks fine. It appears as if the pump pulley somehow came dislodged and started eating into the coolant manifold itself. It was super loose.. but the pump was bolted in tight. almost all of the bolt housings had been shaved down to various levels due to the contact





Took the opportunity to clean up the block a little bit, installed new belts and tensioner, and Installed new manifold assembly.


Flushed with distilled water and filled with fresh dexcool. Took for a little drive and the coolant level dropped slightly. Topped it off and took another drive, about an hour. stayed consistent. Will check again in the morning.
