What is this molding called ?

I like this molding which I think it is and I seen it on Escalades but I also seen them on Tahoes too

That's typically called a fender vent. Simple Google search. I'm not familiar with the escalade set up BUT the tahoe is not factory and looks tacky. Now i'm wondering if the escalade setup is functional, but I doubt it.

I would agree with you BUT some cars pull them off well when ITS factory equipped.
