What is wrong with my a/c????

There is a TSB out for the compressors in these things. Liquid slugging is what is killing em. If you happen to get what I got which is what sounds like a jackhammer under your hood that's what it is. According to the dealer it starts out shredding a belt here and there and progressively gets worse. The TSB tells the dealers to install an inline filter to prevent liquid buildup in the compressor. Cost me a compressor evap and orifice tube. Don't know if that is your problem but that was mine. If it's not engaging at all check your Freon charge. If I'm not mistaken they won't engage without pressure in the line.

maybe you have a leak/slow leak? on my other vehicles I know the compressor wont engage unless it senses freon in the system. just an idea.

hmm if that is the case it could be it, because last time it was hot(before winter) my a/c worked fine but after winter and it started to warm up it wont work, maybe thats what it did and leaked out...
