What keys to use???

Do the ford keys allow the spring load on the torsion bars to stay the same with lifting. I dont want to crank the keys cause I don't want a stiffer ride. Just a mild lift, stock ride quality. Anyone use the suspension maxx keys? What are your guys' recommendations for this keys and spacers......also with 33s would you guys suggest changing the gears from stock, or does it not make a noticeable difference.

changing gears is an expensive proposition, one that is not really needed if you want to put 33s on. If you do a lot of offroading, it may be worth it.

I have 33s and stock 3.73 gears

Depending on tire tread depth and tire weight, you'll feel it when accelerating and you'll see it in your speedometer if it's not recalibrated. Mine takes a little more to get going and my speedometer is off by 2-6 mph

Crank is crank, doesn't matter if it's from ford keys, reeadylift, suspension crapp or what. Get ford keys and longer shocks an be done

im running ford keys paid $60 each for them in stock at ford and installed longer rancho shocks in front rides good

The only reason cranking raises the front is through more pre-load on the springs. Any crank = rougher ride.

Cranking doesn't put more preload on the tb's. It simply turns the lower control arm down more. A rough ride comes from shocks too short or riding on the droop stops
