I am looking for some insight. I have a 2018 Tahoe with the 5.3. I believe it has a 3.42 rearend but not positive. It has trailer brakes and 4x4 so that is my best guess. I can currently get almost 25 on the HWY and around 18 in town on 275/55/R20 Michelin m/s. I am thinking about getting a 2 inch leveling kit from suspension max with the magnetic ride adapter. I want to put LT/295/55R20 either ridge grapps or AT3s on it, on the stock rims. I am wondering how bad my mpg is gonna suffer. I know its only an inch in both width and height but wasn't sure how much the weight was gonna affect it
I have 02 2500HD with the 6.0 and 4.10s, so it never got good gas mileage and even kind of improved on the HWY when I put 35x122.50s on it because the RPMs dropped so much. Coming from driving the truck, I have kind of been enjoying the mpg of the Tahoe and it is what we take on trips so don't want it to tank the mpg.
Also, any thoughts about the leveling kit I am looking at and how well it would clear those tires would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any feedback!
