Ok I see there are some good deals as far as headers go on eBay. I saw a couple no name eBay headers curious if anyone has experience with them. Also I saw obx and pacesetters aren't too pricey. If anyone has had experience please chime in. I'd like to keep the price below 350 if possible. Thanks

Oh and I'd also like a 3" collector not too picky about primary size.

You gotta pay to play and you get what you pay for. I got the Doug Thorly long tubes from Blackbear's site and I'm very happy with them.

What issues would make the difference in 350 bucks? I mean I bought a set of eBay headers for my lt1 camaro and other than a few fitment issues I loved them. I'm not building a high performance mud truck just a daily driver with a few extra ponies and some decent sound.

If you get a cat-less y-pipe you will have to "massage" it because of your 4x4

I didn't have to do anything with the Doug Thorley kit except cut the end off the new Y-pipe and weld it where I cut the stock one right before the flange before the muffler. The DT kit had a different style of flange so it wasn't going to work and it was a bit too long. Everything else went just fine on my Z71. The stock manifolds came out the top and the headers went in from the bottom so easy I couldn't believe it. There was miles of room.

I ran AEM LTs on my 04 Tahoe, loved them. Still have a set in the garage, too bad shipping is a PITA.

True duals- we ran true duals on our 03 Silverado SS. No huge performance benefit really.
