I ran AEM LTs on my 04 Tahoe, loved them. Still have a set in the garage, too bad shipping is a PITA.

True duals- we ran true duals on our 03 Silverado SS. No huge performance benefit really.

pm me a price shipped to 23663 va. It may be worth it if they are in good shape.

I am asking Justin to weigh the AEMs, they are LTs so they will be awkward to ship and package.

They are not "new" as they were used on my 04, but they are ceramic coated LTs, and go for ~$850 new if you can find them. AEM stopped producing them, which was a bummer, as they are excellent headers!

I have two people asking about these headers, so I will respond to the *** and also post up a for sale thread.

As far as a catback goes I just swapped the muffler for a magnaflow. Their kit uses the same diameter pipe as stock so I couldn't justify the $600 they wanted for the kit. I love the way mine sounds. Slight burble at idle, quiet around town and on the highway, loud when I mash the pedal only.

If I could do it all over again, I would have either gone more expensive ($800 range) or way cheaper ($300 range) Nothing like spending $500 and still having to take a hammer to it. In the $800 you shouldn't have near as many fitment issues.

That's a good point about the money. You actually do get what you pay for. I should put this out there. My friend owns a muffler shop. I was able to have the use of the lift, tools, bandsaw, sawsall, and welder. It still took me 7 or so hours to do the install of the Doug thorleys and the ORY. Some slight modification was required to get the ORY to attach to the cat-back. While I was there I did do the spark plugs and wires, it made sense to do them at the time because I was taking them out anyway to get the manifolds out and the headers in. While the exhaust was out of the way I did the vette servo as well. Four birds, one stone was my thinking.
