The 07s had afm? I thought that started after 09 or something.

The 5.3L’s had AFM in ‘07. The 6.2L’s got AFM in ‘09 if I’m not mistaken.

I have some initial lifter tick that goes away after 10 seconds or so. 140k on mine. I did a full syn OC when I bought it then a semi-syn after 5k miles. I will continue to do 5k oil changes for a while.
