so, my buddy and i came across a donor truck for effin cheap. we needed it because his 10 bolt decided to split the carrier housing. the donor truck had a 6 inch lift and a 3 in body lift. he kept the diffs, motor trans, transfer case, and suspension lift for his. i got the body lift from it. I have a torsion key and 2in block kit sitting here that i have yet to install. i want to do both, but was wondering what size tire i will clear. 35's maybe? or do i have to run 33's?

and also, will i need to replace my shocks for a longer set?

Even though he misspelled "search" He is right It would be better for people to search threads before Asking a question that has been answered a couple hundred times. this pushes older informative discussions farther back in history but any who . to your question , If you don't want to Trim 33s with a total of 5 inches of lift (2 inch level and 3 inch body ) will clear Just fine . now if your not scared to use a angle grinder you can clear 35s with minimal offset with no issues . Keep in mind however the bigger the offset the more issues your going to run into .

Yea as don says but a 3in lift can clear 35s just gotta be careful about offset but 5in will clear it easy. I would just keep the 3in body lift so you don't have to mess with the keys and blocks

Eh at 5 inches of lift I barely fit 35s in no way would a 3 inch body lift clear 35s comfortably , unless its a mall crawler , I couldn't even turn my wheel halfway at 4inches with minimal trimming it was a PITA, Mind i had a deep offset but even on stock backspacing any articulation of the front and rear axle will end up with a Fender vs tire deathmatch .

That is the spelling in English, yes, but this is the intardnets. Words are purposely misspelled for a comedic effect. The proper spelling in this case is serch.:deal:

I was just giving him crap for it , like you say it is the "intardnets" lol

No worries mate , Im not discouraging you in anyway or deliberately singling you out . Nor am I asking you to research a cure to cancer but sometimes we get so many of the same questions that I wonder if anybody even searched the first 2 pages as to their question
