What the heck happened

i just put in a new CD player, i purchased the wire kit and have installed lots of cd players... but the actual CD player in the yukon had its own plug that was not on the aftermarket cd player harness. i got it all installed and the extra plug in hanging in the cubby below, but now my heat doesnt work the fan blows but no heat.... any thoughts or ideas?

Hire a professional to minimize the damage you might have already caused.

You might of fried your heater controls thats what happen to my denali about a year ago everything work except it didnt want to heat up.

there was a couple threads on this back on the old forum. from what i can recall there are exposed wires/pins on top of the heater controlls that short out if you touch/drag something across them.

that or you managed to knock something loose on the back of the heater controlls.
