Whats that clickin' noise

When I turn my key to the on position I can hear two clicks come from just below the steering column. I am assuming it's a relay and if it is, should I worry about it or does everyone's click?

I couldn't tell you what it is or if all the obs do it but mine has always done it if that makes ya feel any better.

It might be a fuel pump relay. Can you hear the pump run in the tank when you turn the key on?

Yeah I can hear the pump. I didn't even think about that.

I'll have to check, I haven't been paying that much attention to it. What would it be if it only happens when its cold?

well weather can affect relays. i work for a diesel fleet shop and truck drivers come in and complain that there flashers dont work in cold weather and its because the relay froze and isn't working. im not saying urs froze but weather can have a affect on things like that. Just a thought.
