I see guys not wanting to run wheels adapters or spacers all the time on multiple forums. What is the draw back to adapters and spacers?

They break, they come loose. Those are the big two. Many guys run them with no problem though if you get a quality set and keep an eye on the bolt torque. A wheel with the correct offset is a better solution if you ask me.

Ok LOL now I see all of you are 4x4 so where the hell do I find wheels for my 5 bolt 98that uses the 5x5 or 5x 127 lug pattern that are bigger than 15 or 16 inch and don't cost an arm, leg and first born? although I will part with the leg. I am looking for a 17 inch wheel that is 9 or 9.5 wide so I can get rid of these freakin 75 series side walls and get down to something a little more sporty like a 60 series. I realize you guys may not be the best to ask lol.

big wheels get to be big money. Tires for bigger wheels go up just as fast. As for where to buy wheels, I have no good ideas. I bought on e-bay after I researched the rims I wanted.

Yea thats where I'm at ebays wheel search has gotten very good so I may just end up with a set of 15's since they are the only ones that are under 600 for a full set.
