I was wondering what is the name/ part # of this thing there a huge problem in the rears for the 2000-2002 models because they squeak like hell but I'm pretty sure after 2003 they changed um out I'm looking for the new piece to fix this problem!!! Thanks guys!

I remember seeing one.. it came up about four months ago but no one had part numbers or name guy paid something like &25 ea.

Have you tried spraying some lube into the moving parts? That usually quiets squeeky hinges.

I swear i have tried every single lube you can think of...just doesnt work not even as a short term fix...sounds horrible though

I found this. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26354 It sounds like your problem. There is also a TSB that I think is for the hinges. You would have to go to a dealer to find out. It is TSB #010864015.
