Was going to post in the Interior boards, but I thought this subejct was fitting.
Just finished with my White 3d Carbon fiber vinyl dash pieces today. Plasti dipped the others matte black to "break up" the look..

Also...does anyone know how to remove these two pieces next to the horn on the steering wheel? Would like to wrap them in vinyl.

My 'unique mod' would be my lower grille insert. You don't see too many of them and have not seen one yet locally ;)

Painted the caddy emblems. Subtle but I like the look. Weird how many people notice it and comment on it. The pic of the rear one looks like it doesn't quite match...just the angle of the sunlight. Had them painted when I had some other bodywork done.

My emblems and my sub box. I don't know why but I really like the emblems and it was probably the simplest and cheapest mod I've done yet.

Unhook negative battery cable, wait 10 minutes, then use a small allen wrench or small long screwdriver and stick it in the holes on the sides of the back of the steering wheel to release the air bag (pull slightly while doing it). This will take time and WILL piss you off, but trust me, it comes off. You want to go straight in, perfectly level.

Set the air bag on top of the steering wheel facing AWAY from you and unhook the wiring clips. Then you'll see the screws holding those pieces in. Its not too complicated. I don't remember if the horn contacts are tied in or not, but if they are make sure you put them back EXACTLY like they were. This took me 3-4 tries to get right, nothing like your horn going off randomly and not being able to make it stop while you're going down the road!

:lol2:

EDIT: If the only reason you want to cover it is because it is peeling, read this thread first:

As for my unique mod, I did all this for this, and I guess not many people have it:
