My local Advance Auto Parts had the Timken in stock and matched the Rock price.

If they'll match price that's more ideal. I've always gotten them from RA because they were half the price but if a local auto store will price match then that's the route I'd go. Great info @TowGMC

Just call the Advance toll free number and tell them to look at the Rock price. They'll authorize the price match.
And yes you're right, Advance was exactly double the Rock price for the same damn part number. Two minutes invested on the phone saved me $60 per side.

They're both customers of mine- Advance and Rock- so either way I'm still doing business with someone who buys my parts, I'll only buy from someone who buys from me. But when it's my wallet paying for parts I find the best deal among those customers.
