Hey guys- so I’m making a new thread here but I’m about to have both of my front Z55 struts replaced (staying oem they both locked up) and upper control arms after seeing the ball joints took a crap. Staying oem on the parts including gm original control arms.

My question after that ramble is - my ride has 138k miles on it and I’m thinking ..

I should prob replace both front wheel hubs while the front coilovers and control arms are off and being replaced? I’m thinking it’s prob way past due and I’ll have the front end pretty much disassembled while they do it.

Original owner and dialing in all maintenance needs prior to my upcoming cam swap and sc install.

Unless they are making noise, or have play when the weight is off the tire, I wouldn't worry about them. I've have many vehicles past 200k with the original bearings.

If you are looking for piece of mind, then it's not too much more to slap them in since it's apart. Stick with OE parts like you stated. Putting in an off brand may make you regret the time, effort, and money spent

Yep may as weel do it while they’re off. I’ve rebuilt the entire front end excluding the hubs with oem parts excluding front springs on the coilovers. Had to go moog because they were discontinued.

Appreciate the info

I’m completely happy with mine as well. I was however surprised the oem ones were discontinued

Anyone that knows me, will say that I recommend replace parts while it is apart and use OE parts. The labor is partially done and doing it all while you are this deep in to it, if you have the $, makes sense, especially if you plan to keep it.
