Wheel spacers

I jave a 2017 tahoe z71
The stock rims have a 24mm offset and i would like to move the tires out a touch maybe 1 inch. I want the get the tires perfectly flush with the body. What is the deal with spacers. Anyone using them?

Lots of guys run them. If you go less than 1.5" or 1.75", you're gonna need to trim your existing studs down. Make sure you are buying hub centric ones.

BORA and shifted are high quality hub centric spacers. A few other companies make them too, but you want to read reviews and make sure they're hub centric and not going to fall apart.

Go with BORA wheel spacers. They are very very good quality and they are also wheel and hub centric. They aren’t cheap but on something like wheel spacers you don’t want to cheap out on.

I currently run BORA on my Ram and never had an issue. I been using a 1.75” spacer for about 6 months now

Many have. The smallest spacer we have seen work with no trimming is a 1.5". Yes, the studs go into divots on the wheel.

I'm running 1.5 inch spacers on my '05 Yukon and the lugs protrude a quarter inch into the pockets on the back of the wheels.

If you do not want to trim the studs at all, 1.75 inch spacers are needed. Hypothetically, you could run 1.25 inch spacers and cut a quarter inch off the end of the stud and be completely fine. The First quarter inch of the stud is just the rounded portion anyhow, no threads would be affected.

That has been the conventional wisdom, but it depends on the wheel. @Shaw520 is running 1.5" with no trimming.
