GM's brake line issue, the main reason I almost didn't get another Tahoe.
The longest NHTSA investigation in history that did not lead to a recall.

Because of the backlash when these $2500, non-covered repairs came up, GMs solution was to make a set of brake lines that didn't cost a fortune and were pre-bent to be installed "easily".
If you find a good write up it makes sense on the install.

For $65 on Amazon you can get the GM/Delco ones.
