Part numbers for a 1998 Tahoe are 15050249 or 15067310. These are on RockAuto.com. Should be the same for the pickups. Be careful though, one could for the the right hand side and the other could be for left. You might have to do some research to see which one is exactly right for your specific vehicle.

@Boost infection,

Try GMPartsDirect.com for a part number. Here's what I found for a 1997 Tahoe (Lefthand tray), and you'd want to confirm fitment by searching using your exact make/model:

https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-battery-tray-15977664/?c=Zz1lbGVjdHJpY2FsJnM9YmF0dGVyeSZpPUdIOTUzNjE1JnI9MyZhPWNoZXZyb2xldCZvPXRhaG9lJnk9MTk5NyZ0PWJhc2UmZT01LTdsLXY4LWdhcw==

That one is discontinued so, if it's the one you need, it might be time for a trip to the junk yard or u-pull.

After you get the part number, Google Amazon, eBay Motors, Craigslist, etc.

Good luck on your search.

Thanks guys I tried several yards for months and turned up empty. I will see what the part numbers do in an extensive interweb search

Classicindustries had them but no longer available. Hey Fless I ordered that one but it does not fit at all as the part that will fit is the plastic drop in piece that will work with my existing bracket

For identification, all part #'s ending in even number are for right side, uneven numbers are for left side, that's setting behind steering wheel.
