Hello. :)

So I asked this question on my hybrid thread, but since most of you ignore that section and my threads (I'm not bitter about it, really I'm not), I thought I would ask it here so it can truly get ignored.

What I am looking for is if anyone knows of a place/vendor where one can buy 3M backed lettering of the entire alphabet with the exact font and finish of TAHOE/SILVERADO/SUBURBAN/AVALANCHE?

What I am actually trying to do is spell HYBRID with those letters. Problem is even if I bought all the above oem emblems, I would still be missing a Y ... and the Y form the GMC Yukons is a different font and finish. Obviously non matching fonts are worse that death.

Help me find Y!!! :(

I don't have a clue here, (Hey, at least we're not ignoring you) but I'm guessing you're not going to be able to find every letter of the alphabet, so....

Maybe this is your chance to make lemonaide out of lemons. What would it look like if you found a "Y" that was similar and got it in the color GREEN instead of chrome. If it was excuted well, it would play into the whole "green" movement and since it was a different color, it wouldn't have to be the same font.

Here's an example...

HYBRID

On a more comical note, if that doesn't work for you, just go to the local farm supply store and get those white block reflective letters (black on white) and spell it like this:

"HIGH BREED"...

LOL!

That is a good idea Art ... definitely something to consider as a fallback plan.

Where might one find a green Y?

Btw, the closest I found were a couple of fonts that are close but not 'it' here: http://youremblem.com/catalog/

(no, not the rhinestone one) :)

If it helps any I do still have all of my suburban lettering sitting around that I'd make a good deal to you on if you wanna use it. it would get you at least part of the way there.

If I were you, I'd form the "Y" out of sticks and glue 'em on the truck. Of course the sticks shouldn't be plucked from a growing tree, nor should the glue be a byproduct of any animal testing.
