I discovered a wet(water, not coolant) passenger floorboard this morning post-rain. Thought it may have been from my floor liners messing with the seal on the door. I pulled them out, no change.

Did a little bit of digging. Seems like it's coming from the dash. I popped off the side panel, pulled the door seal out to get a view and it's wet in there. So I pop the a-pillar out to see if there was a split or something in the sunroof drain. There wasn't, at least not the piece of the hose I could access. The door seal is in good condition with no cracks or splits.

So....Uhh.... Aside from spending all day pulling the dash out to see where the source is, can anyone give me some ideas?

See the wet spots

And rust where it looks like the water's been collecting

P.S. how are all my pacific NW members faring in the storm?

Check the seam on the top of your windshield. Once water gets behind its not getting deflected anywhere but inside. Mine would leak above my roof center console but nothing a little painters tape and silicone can't fix

Depends how bad the leak is. Water pushes itself so there's no telling how far or where it could go. It's just a place to look but I definitely had to silicone the whole top windshield on my 99

Right on

Its late now but I'll see what I can find tomorrow. If it's a windshield leak I'll just replace the whole windshield. I've been looking for an excuse to do mine anyways as the PO ran their wipers down to the metal and scraped it to hell :badidea:

Oh the storm? I've been working outside and it has been WET. And windy. Testing out my new rain gear. Tornado hit the Oregon coast today, so I'm not complaining! Tomorrow might be a different story, it's supposed to get worse.
