Another dumb question, do the side rails come in chrome or? I see some are painted, is that just people painting over the chrome? I wanted the chrome look with just the end caps painted to match.

Only chrome. People have painted theirs...

I bought mine off a member here, and then sent the end caps to Robbie to be painted. His guys did an excellent job!

Pricing for just the rails and end caps isn't actually that bad. I can get them brand new from GM.

The prices for the cross rails are rather high at $100+/- each.

If anyone is looking for cross rails I have a set from my ext that I will sell. PM me know if any of you are interested.

No it's totally different. I put one on my Avy. You need one from the EXT.

The cross rails are interchangable for all models though I believe
