I've searched high and low. I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the 2 adapters that connect to the factory overhead TV screen.
I think the ribbon cable to my overhead, flip down TV screen is going bad. When flipped down, it will randomly black out (but audio still plays) until you find the "sweet spot" where it will stay on wit hthe TV at a certain angle. It's never the same spot. Just random, which makes me believe it's the ribbon cable between the hinge.
I've taken the unit out and apart. I've ordered a new 40 pin ribbon cable that I hope will fit according to the measured dimensions.
If the new ribbon cable does not work, I'd like to replace the whole TV unit with and aftermarket one.
Are there any adapters to help in this process too, along with knowing what wire goes where?
