Most I've seen cost over $300 and shipping is over $150. I found one on ebay for $220 plus $80 shipped(via Greyhound). Anybody know of anything better?

I was thinking of powdercoating my stock bumper, bumper cap, and valance, but was told powdercoating fades after a while, is that true?

Oracal or 3M graphics adhesive

Not sure if this is your thing, but I discarded the idea of doing an SS front bumper because of cost. Instead I used Krylon Fusion paint on my front valance and had a club member apply black Oracal graphic vinyl to my chrome bumpers. Here's a photo of the front...

Ditto. I did my lower valance b/c of warrlac. lol.. I used exactly what he said, the kyrlon for plastics. Easy as ever, just clean it and paint. Still going strong, no scratches, pitting nothing. But for bumpers, i just got some Z71's already black. Just something about a all black front end factory looking. I like the ss cover, but seen it in person and just my opinion like mine better. And powdercoating, just get em painted.

You can get a ss front bumper for under 300 off ebay, but it won't be street scene. It'l be fiberglass and it won't fit snug over your existing bumper. Been there done that. It doesn't look bad, just moves a little.

Page 5 of the for sale section has/ had a Cervinis one for something like $350 shipped i believe. Dont know if the guy still has it, was never updated with a sold edit.
Warrlac's bumper is lookin pretty sweet, probably better off doing that, ALOT cheaper than havin a shop spray a new bumper for you

man, ya, I never thought about vinyl...interesting. I'd also thought about a Z71 bumper, but haven't had any luck in finding one
