Anyway, I am in Elgin, literally down the street from Nicks (I saw mentioned above) on Bowes. But grew up and still have the other house in West Chicago.

Pretty country, although I haven't been up that way in number of years. Took over Lakes Cablevision in McHenry in Jan '85, right after a snowstorm and ended up driving up there from Morris mostly on ice in a 2wd pickup. As I recall that system may have served Fox Lake as well as Woodstock.
