I do miss his expertise though, and wish him well.

He did mention that there were some cables stolen along with the X-box. Maybe we could help with that as a Christmas gift if he is willing?

Bare with me. I am working into a new job assignment in Santa maria CA., so wheni can get some money together I will buy the missing computer parts. May take as long as 2 weeks to get them tho. We will see. This week I only get 1300 but next week should be 2200 dollars as long as there are parts to work.

I do IT work and we are always getting rid of good pc's. If you need anything let me know. The pc's are only 3 years old so they are not junk and all you would need is a hard drive. PM me your address and I'll ship you one for free.

Sunlit, I run the ecommerce portion for an asset recovery company as one of my day jobs (www.primelec.com) we get our hands on a lot of computer parts & cables. Take a look and if you see anything that will work for and just PM me the part numbers and I'll have my guys send them to you.

Your posts have helped me out on several occasions so if I can help you with some parts and cables it is the least I can do.

I have a laptop already it is just not used much except for now. If things go well this next week I will order the stuff to bring the desktop online again. If not it is possible I will be gone for a long while and not just because of computer parts. Monday is a make or break deal for somethings. It really comes down to having a job that will accept me and using it to pay for a place to live. Because I have had neither I have not done the typical stuff I do. Instead my body just gets problematic of not having a place to live. Not good for the cats either.
