Which cabin filter? '15i

I tried like heck to get a small
Hose in there...
I got a leaf out, and couldn't see anything else but the noise is still there.

I'm hoping that it's the ac delco filter that has a loose pleat...

I'm supposed the get the baking soda one any day. I'll swap that out and see if the noise goes away finally.

Are the air filters that come with it suck? My Suburban is about 6 months old. How often are you supposed to change them? Can you notice a difference with the air filters you have than the one that comes factory? Thanks

The stock air filter is different than the acdelco replacement. I was told the acdelco is the factory replacement. Its crappy quality. It is thin and I believe its the cause of the buffeting sound I now have. I believe I got all of the leaves out...

I have a fram with baking soda coming in the mail someday. Its back ordered. I hope that it is higher quality and "stiffer".

The factory one, was stiffer, it almost had a frame built into it. The acdelco was just the pleats. I get that it sits in a frame, but the pleats just sound like they are flapping around. I also got the smaller micron cleaning one, so maybe that had something to do with it.

My wife has bad allergies, so I figured we would try.

Why would the OEM replacement filter be different from the filter installed at the factory? In asking this question, I am assuming that there has not been a running production change at the plant that we are not aware of.

Someone could pull the one from the factory and get the GM part number off the filter and share with this group.

How difficult is it to replace the cabin filter?

Not difficult and if you do a Google search there is a Youtube that shows you exactly how to do it.

How difficult is it to replace the cabin filter?

Super easy. About 6 screws and then a couple of tabs, slide out the air filter, slide the new one in, put everything back together and you are done. Takes 15 minutes or less.
