Which code scanner?

I dont have one but definitely want and need to get one. What is the best scanner to get? I know they get a little pricey but I would much rather spend the money on a good now than get pissed off at a cheap one and end up buying a good one anyways later.

Is there an advantage to the hand held over the pc-based?

More portable. Don't need a separate computer. Unless you want to create and view logs and reports.

Westher they do bi-directional communications is dependent on the software or hardware and not size.
